Overview
Our client is currently recruiting a Claims Handler for household claims. You will be working within a close knit team and will be responsible for the proactive management of your own caseload of household claims, including High Net Worth properties. Assisting on-site visits will also be required which will develop your overall claims handling ability. This is working for a great company who can offer excellent career development.

The Role
The role is to help customers and to handle their claim start to finish. Specific duties will include;
• Desktop claims handling
• Written and verbal communication with policyholders and clients
• Project managing contractors and suppliers to complete their work
• Authorising insured works or payments
• Providing regular and accurate updates to policyholders and clients
• Manage High Net Work cases
• Manage technical claims such as large losses

The Ideal Candidate
In order to be considered for the role you will need to have experience managing insurance claims, ideally household claims. You will need excellent organisational and communication skills (written and verbal).

Insurance qualifications such as Cert CII are a distinct advantage.

Additional Information
The working hours for this role are 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
