We are currently looking for someone setting out on their career to join a well-established Payroll team. This is a busy role where you will gain fantastic exposure and experience. This would suit someone who is currently studying or recently completed their AAT and looking for a career role.

The role
Once trained, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of administration duties accurately whilst working to strict deadlines.

Duties will include:
• Inputting payroll information and processing salary payments
• Dealing with any payroll queries in a professional manner
• Assisting in the production of payroll reports and management information
• Checking for any payroll related discrepancies
• Processing new starter and leaver information and other associated administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate
Previous knowledge of payroll procedures would be an advantage however a positive attitude to work and willingness to get stuck in and learn is more important. You will need to have strong computer skills including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You will be working as part of a team and will need to be happy to help out wherever is needed. To be successful in this role you will need to have high attention to detail, good problem solving skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines. This role is perfect for someone wanting to begin a career in Payroll.
