Overview
A well known and successful company based in Bournemouth is looking to recruit a Senior Finance Assistant to join their Purchase Ledger team. This is a busy and varied role where you will be working as part of a great accounts function, who work to very high standards.

The Role
Working within a really nice Finance department, your responsibilities will include the following:
• Organising the processing of purchase invoices and payment of accounts
• Controlling all invoicing
• Preparation of accounting reports
• Completing reconciliations
• Liaising with customers and internal staff
• Some supervisory responsibilities for a small team of purchase ledger clerks

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a Finance team, this role would suit someone with previous supervisory experience or someone looking to take that next step in their career. You need to have a strong level of numeracy, with experience of working on computerised finance systems. You should be well-organised, able to work on your own initiative and have the ability to meet strict deadlines. A finance qualification would be an advantage although not essential.
