Overview
A leading professional services company on the outskirts of Southampton is looking to recruit an administrator within the Finance team an interim basis for at least a couple of months, but the role may even possibly go permanent in time. You will be working as part of a small, friendly team.
Job Role
This is a busy accounts team and you will assist the team in the processing and paying of incoming invoices. You will be validating received invoices against purchase orders, processing them through the system, gaining authorisations, paying the invoices and reconciling accounts. You will be busy and the work will be varied. Full training will be given.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential is that you have excellent attention to detail and good computer skills. You need to be organised and be able to cope with a level of repetition. To do the job well you need to have a good eye for spotting anything that doesn’t look right and then challenging it with the relevant person in the team. Given this is a small team, although you’re in a standalone role you need to work really well with others and have a helpful nature.
Further Information
This is advertised as a 9am-5.30am role, but there may be some flexibility, even working some fewer hours, possibly as few as 30 per week.
The role starts within a few days so you need to be immediately available.
